Case Study / Commercial
Carla Lane Animals In Need were in a position where they had to satisfy local council planning by implementing come commercial soundproofing and acoustic treatment measures on 10 outside kennel runs. The kennels themselves sat in the Lancashire countryside with very little houses around them, but stringent rules around noise breakout were administered to the organisation, which led to them getting in touch with City Insulation.
Having carried out an extensive survey on site, a carefully thought out acoustic design was drawn up and presented to the council, which they approved immediately. We subsequently installed a system including Euroforms’ Versapanel, a dense acoustic Rockwool behind the mass, and Stratocell Whisper, with an NRC of 1 to soak up the barking noise as quickly as it’s being made in the kennel runs. Overall, our client is benefitting from a fully moisture proof system that is designed to last a lifetime, and the project was delivered on time and within budget.
The City Insulation team consists of acoustical consultants, specialist soundproofing fitters, builders and joiners ensuring all jobs are completed to the highest of standards. As a result we are to offer a 2 year workmanship guarantee on all of our work.
